NearYou: find the best places around you app for iPhone and iPad

NearYou is an unmissable travel companion that fits right in your pocket!

No matter where you are in the world, finding places near you is a piece of cake. You can also use different categories with added free text search to filter the places you want to see.

If you are planning a trip, then good news: NearYou also allows you to change your location to anywhere in the world. Switching between your current gps location and a location far away is as easy as tapping a map. You can also use the location of a poi as your own location. And you can switch back and forth as many times as you want to.

This app makes heavy use of the compass and shows rotating arrows to show the direction of the pois youre interested in. The app also shows how far away a poi is.

You can get walking directions from a variety of providers such as Apple Maps, Navigon and Sygic, if you have these applications installed.

Pois are listed with address and phone if available, with the option to place phone calls from within the app.

Found a great poi? Use the Share function and tell your friends about it via mail or other share-supported apps that you have installed.
